CME Group will launch Ether/Bitcoin Ratio futures on July 31, the company announces in a press release.

• The launch is pending regulatory review
• The futures will be cash-settled to the value of CME Group Ether futures final settlement price, divided by the corresponding CME Group Bitcoin futures final settlement price
• Giovanni Vicioso, CME global head of cryptocurrency products, said in the statement that the futures will allow investors to capture ether and Bitcoin exposure in a single trade, without needing to take a directional view
